AGGIES FALL 20-14 IN OVERTIME
The Aggies opened the 2009 season with a 20-14 thrilling overtime loss to Chanhassen at the new Sea Foam Stadium at Concordia University. Saint Agnes scored first when AJ Johnson connected for a 17 yard pass to Mario Franco. The Aggies held the lead until the third quarter when Chanhassen scored 14 unanswered points to lead 14-9. Matt Fossand scored on a 3 yard run and tied the game with a two-point conversion. In overtime the Aggies had the ball first and failed to sore. Chanhassen scored on a 5 yard run to win the game. Saint Agnes travels to Lester Prairie/Holy Trinity Friday for a MCAA Conference game.
