AGGIES BEAT LIONS GATE 40-7
After trailing 7-0, the Aggies scored 40 unanswered points to defeat the visiting Golden Lion s 40-7 on a rainy night at Midway Stadium. The Aggies finally got on the board on an AJ Johnson 3-yard touchdown run. Johnson connected with Josh Gutzmann for the two-point conversion and the Aggies led 8-7. Saint Agnes scored again when Johnson found Gutzmann with a 27-yard touchdown pass. The extra point failed and the Aggies led 14-7 at halftime. The second half was all Aggies. Ryan Hernandez scored the next two touchdowns with a 16-yard run and a 21-yard pass from Johnson. Johnson rounded out the Saint Agnes scoring with TD runs of 2-yards and 1-yards to seal the Aggies 40-7 win. Saint Agnes improves to 3-2 overall and 3-1 in the MCAA Conference. Lion s Gate falls to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the MCAA.

Next week is homecoming and the Aggies will host New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep, 7:30pm at Sea Foam Stadium. A pregame tailgating party begins at 6:00pm in the Sea Foam Stadium plaza.
